As Susan Suntog said, “I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list..”
Rapidly approaching a travel milestone of having visited 60 countries, and with a bucket list that is constantly evolving and expanding, I think it’s safe to say I’m living life in a state of wanderlust.
Coming from a tiny yet mighty country in the middle of the Caribbean Sea (the Cayman Islands), I was extremely blessed to grow up as part of a family who valued travel, and “experiences over things.” I left home at 16 years old to study in Swaziland (now eSwatini) having received a United World College Scholarship. Between 16 and 18 years old, I was frequently backpacking around Sub-Saharan and Eastern Africa with classmates (now lifelong friends) from all corners of the globe. Since then, researching my next destination, including its culture, customs, traditions, and its cuisine has become one of my very favorite past times.
So far, my adventures have taken me to 55 of 195 Countries in 5 of 7 Continents…
North America: Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Sint Maarten, Trinidad & Tobago, United States, US Virgin Islands
South America: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela
Europe: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
